Jacobs
Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today it was appointed
by Woodside Energy Ltd (Woodside) to work as part of an engineering
panel to provide multi-disciplinary engineering services for Woodside’s
onshore and offshore assets for a period of two years.
Under the contract, Jacobs has the ability to deliver concept, FEED and
detail design activities, engineering assessments and engineering
support services for maintenance and operations.
Woodside is an Australian oil and gas company and one of the largest LNG
producers in Australia, with a global presence as an explorer,
developer, producer and supplier. Woodside’s developing and producing
portfolio includes assets across Australia’s West Coast, Canada and
Timor Leste.
In making the announcement, Jacobs Senior Vice President Steve Axcell stated,
