Jacobs
Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today it received
contracts from Wipro
Limited to provide detailed design services for campuses at
Gopanpally (Hyderabad), Bhubaneshwar and Kolkata in India.
For the Hyderabad and Bhubaneshwar contracts, Jacobs is providing
detailed engineering design for the construction of Information
Technology - Special Economic Zone (IT SEZ) facilities at each campus.
The scope includes structural, heating, ventilating and air conditioning
(HVAC), electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, integrated building
management system (IBMS) and LEED certification. The built-up area (BUA)
for the two facilities totals 1.95 million square feet.
For the Kolkata facility, a 13-level building with BUA of 0.218 million
square feet, Jacobs is providing full HVAC design and interior fit-out
design for electrical, fire-fighting, plumbing, IBMS and LEED
certification. All three facilities will be designed for LEED
Platinum certification.
