Project management services provided for new manufacturing facility and
headquarters

Jacobs
Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today it has
successfully completed project management services for Sunstar
Americas, Inc.’s manufacturing facility and North American
headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois.
Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs provided overall project
management services, including risk, cost, schedule and relocation
management; process support; manufacturing execution system development;
and project execution mentoring. In addition to expanding the company’s
manufacturing capacity, the 302,000 square-foot facility includes a
research and design center, specialized manufacturing clean rooms and
corporate offices.
In making the announcement, Jacobs Senior Vice President Specialty
Chemicals Andrew Berryman stated, “Successfully completing this project
with Sunstar demonstrates our global project management and engineering
capabilities. We look forward to growing our relationship and providing
Sunstar with additional support as they continue to expand their product
offerings in various end markets.”
The new facility is home to approximately 400 Sunstar employees; the
company anticipates that number to grow substantially in coming years.
