Jacobs
Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today it was awarded a
contract to provide engineering services and procurement for Alnylam
Pharmaceuticals’ (Nasdaq: ALNY) new manufacturing facility in Norton,
Massachusetts.
Under the terms of the agreement, Jacobs is providing engineering
services and procurement for the multi-product facility being built to
supply RNA interference-based therapeutics for clinical and commercial
needs.
In making the announcement, Jacobs Senior Vice President Global Life
Sciences Robert Norfleet stated, “Partnering with Alnylam on this major

The 200,000 square foot facility is expected to be completed in 2018.
